Our Guest: Whitney Rockley

For this Thought Leader series, we are thrilled to be joined by Whitney Rockley as a speaker.

Whitney Rockley is an entrepreneur by heart. After investing in high growth tech companies targeting industrial markets for the past 20 years she co-founded McRock Capital, a venture capital fund focused exclusively on the Industrial Internet of Things.

Additionally, she currently serves on several boards like Praemo, Invixium, and Miovision as well as the Management Advisory Board of the University of Calgary. Not only is she the first female Chair of the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association, she also served on the advisory board of Ryerson's Centre for Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship and she was one of the key investors behind RuggedCom (acquired by Siemens) as well as an early investor in Silicon Energy and Capstone.

Having worked in London, Zurich, San Francisco, Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto, Whitney has an impressive global network and is extremly experienced setting up and managing corporate venture capital programs
