3. Purpose and legal basis of processing

The data you provide in your application will be collected so that we can check whether you can be hired for the job for which you applied. The data is used to check in advance whether we will invite you to an interview. We process all the data that you provide to us in your application. The data is collected on the basis of Article 88 (2) GDPR, Section 26 (1) sentence 1 BDSG.

4. Transmission of the personal data provided by you

Your personal data will only be transmitted within Chemovator GmbH and made available there by the persons responsible for the respective personnel matters and the superiors of the position for which you have applied, or in individual cases other employees involved in the selection of personnel.

The data is stored on the drives of the persons responsible for the application process at our location in Mannheim during the application process. In addition, the data is stored on the exchange server in the email accounts of the Chemovator GmbH employees named above, since we provide them with the documents by email. The aforementioned persons have access to the data. In addition, the employees of the IT service provider commissioned by us, who is responsible for the functionality of the IT systems, can access all data to ensure the operational security of our IT systems. However, access by the staff of the IT service provider takes place only insofar as this is actually necessary to guarantee the operational security of our IT systems.

5. Storage duration of the personal data

Your data will be stored for a maximum of six months after collection in the event that no adjustment is made.

If there is a hiring, we will save your data in your personnel file for the duration of the employment relationship on the basis of Article 88 Paragraph 2 GDPR, § 26 BDSG. In addition to the employees of payroll accounting, only the personnel managers and the employees of the personnel department of Chemovator GmbH have access to the personnel file.

6. Data subject rights

You have the following rights based on the GDPR: If your personal data is processed, you have the right to receive information about your personal data (Article 15 GDPR). If incorrect personal data is processed, you have the right to have it corrected (Article 16 GDPR).

If the legal requirements are met, you can request that the processing be deleted or restricted, and you can object to the processing (see Articles 17, 18 and 21 GDPR). If you request deletion or restriction of processing or if you object to processing in the current application process, we can no longer consider you when checking whether you are eligible for recruitment. If you exercise your above rights, Chemovator GmbH will check whether the legal requirements for this are met.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with our Data Protection Officer (for contact details see below) or with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.
